The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially disclosed the comprehensive schedule for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, promising an exhilarating cricketing extravaganza set to kick off on February 17.

Grand Opening Clash: Lahore Qalandars vs. Islamabad United

PCB unveiled the highly anticipated schedule for PSL 2024, marking February 17 as the commencement date for the tournament. The opening match will witness Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, locking horns with Islamabad United, the formidable two-time titlist, at the prestigious Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Cricket Festivity Across Four Cities

In an official statement, PCB confirmed that PSL 2024 will unfold across four prominent cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. The tournament’s climax is set to take place at the renowned National Bank Stadium in Karachi on March 18. Karachi will be hosting a total of 11 crucial encounters, including the Qualifier, two Eliminators, and the grand finale, making it the epicenter of the cricketing spectacle.

High-Stakes Matches

Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi will witness nine gripping games each, while Multan will host five captivating fixtures. Among the anticipated clashes, the battle between Lahore and Karachi Kings is scheduled for February 24 and March 9, gracing the prestigious grounds of Gaddafi Stadium and National Bank Stadium, respectively.

PSL 2024: Two Legs of Action

The tournament will unfold in two legs, with the initial phase taking place in Multan and Lahore, featuring 14 thrilling matches from February 17 to 27. The cricket caravan will then move to Rawalpindi and Karachi, where the remaining 16 group stage games will be played between February 28 and March 12. The action will subsequently shift entirely to Gaddafi Stadium for the latter part of the tournament.
